Chubby Hands full of Clay!

We love to kiss them, squeeze them, and look at them all the time.... why not preserve them for life?

So that is what we did this week with our children's hands and feet and a little bit of clay!

Christine from 2HandsClay came out and helped us roll the clay, press the hands and feet, paint them up and create a wonderful father's day gift (shhhhh it's a surprise).

Who knew that trying to get toddlers to keep their hand still long enough to press it down and not have them squeeze the clay would be so hard?!? But in the end we all had some lovely prints made and are all anxious to get them back soon.

Beautiful Babes and Brilliant Butterflies!

You put your antenna in, you put your exoskeleton out, you put your right wing in and you shake it all about......

What appeals to boys and girls more than bugs and butterflies I'll never know, but they sure had fun learning about the life cycle of the butterfly at Wings Of Paradise.

The strollers lined the hall-way at our first multi-site event as he children danced,sang and participated in crafts all centred around the butterfly.

As we strolled through the conservatory we were able to see so many butterflies fluttering around in the sunshine and although we could have used some traffic lights to direct the strollers it was a great day!

I'm sure the icing on the cake was when we all got the chance to hold cockroaches and millipedes (which will poo on your hand if their scared....they were scared that day).

Mom's go GAGA for MANIA!!

All that planning and preparation and more planning and more preperation and what did we get but an amazingly fun day for our first annual Momstown Mania!

With over 130 moms plus their children we had a full house with plenty of activites to go around.

Having the fire truck show up first thing in the morning set the tone for the day, and with that the kids were off to Toddler Olympics, planting pansies, painting, and getting their faces painted.

Believe it or not we are already starting to plan for next year, we are just so excited and we hope that everyone who came out to join us had as much fun as we did :-)
