The Teddy Bear's Picnic!

It was a beautiful day at Breithupt park for our first ever teddy bear picnic. The kids did a little check up on their bears to make sure they were healthy and happy, gave them a little ride on the parachute, sang them some songs and had a little picnic with them too.

I'm sure the highlight of the morning for the kids was getting to splash around in the splash pad and enjoy the sunshine.

We're looking forward to "Diggin' Dino's " in August for our next themed event. What kid doesn't want to dig around in the sand and look for some dinosaurs. Who knows maybe you have a little paleontologist on your hands!

Arrrr Matey!!

Our little pirates loved making their own hats and swords for their family pirate treasure hunt!

Their little snagle-tooth grins said it all as the had their treasure maps out and traversed the playground to find their special treasure at the red X.

My kids wore their pirate hats all day at home and were maybe a little confused as to why they didn't find anymore treasures! I think this is something we'll have to do it again....maybe a neighbourhood treasure hunt will be happening very soon ;-)
