The Apple of our Eye

Today we gathered at Hergott's Cider Mill and learned about friends and foes of the orchard. Our little one's donned their pint sized yellow aprons and made apple slinkies, apple flowers and tried out some apple butter! It was a great tour that they all enjoyed and it was fun to do it together. The only sad thing was to learn that as of December the Hergott's will be retiring and the mill will therefore be closing down unless someone buys them.
