We Love, Love, Love Kellogg's Breakfast

This past Saturday was our We Love, Love, Love... event.  We LOVE Valentines Day, Kindermusik and we really LOVE Kellogg's!  The jammed pack event started with the back of my car looking like this.  My 7 seater vehicle was so filled with all the goodies for the Kellogg's breakfast and goody bags, that there was little room for the kids and craft supplies in there! Seriously. Only my dad was brave enough to pack this car.

The Kellogg's goody bags were LOADED with 7 regular sized boxes of cereal favourites, including Fruit Loops, Mini-Wheats, Frosted Flakes, Corn Pops, Rice Krispies, and more!  Try fitting 20 of those loaded swag bags in your car.

Once the car unloaded itself (not really!), we got all set up to have ourselves a Kelloggs nutritious breakfast.  The spread included boxes of cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, lots of fruit and even coffee and tea.  Yes, coffee and tea as well.  I don't think anyone even noticed the coffee and tea with all the other yummy things on the table.

While there was lots of crunching and snacking going on, we talked about all the nutrition we were providing our kids with and they didn't even know it. Sneaky sneaky....   Don't kid yourself, the parents were getting their nutrients too and educated at the same time.  They didn't realize that the sugar in the cereals was only 5% of their childs' sugar intake for the day! Or that these cereals made a great snack for anytime of the day...  And that they were creating great heathy lifestyle habits for their children.

The other reason that the car was jam packed was because of this huge gift basket that one lucky mom won to take home.  Filled with Kelloggs merchandise like Toucan, a soccer ball, books, cereal and of course, bowls to eat all the cereal out of!
To be honest, the craft supplies didn't fit in the car with it being so packed to the rim... and it didn't even matter!  With full bellies, and smarter minds, we formed a big family circle on the floor and had a Valentines themed Kindermusik session.  We sang, we danced and we played.  We ended our Valentines day realizing how much we love, love, love.
