Dr. Mahfam Amini Practices Gentle & Low Force Chiropractic in Kitchener-Waterloo

Concerned about proper sleep position for your baby? Worried about your baby’s spine when she sleeps in the bassinet/car seat? Are you looking for natural ways to sooth your colicky baby? Does your child only nurse on one side? Do you experience back pain when you carry around your baby? Suffering from pregnancy-related back pain or sciatica? Do you suffer from an injury occurred during labour? Dr.Amini is happy to answer your questions and concerns.

Dr.Mahfam Amini BSc DC practices gentle and low force chiropractic in Kitchener-Waterloo area. She has a special interest in children’s and women’s health. She enjoys treating pregnant women and their babies using gentle and special chiropractic techniques. Her passion for treating expectant mothers and children has led her to gain years of experience addressing spinal health issues such as infant colic, ear infections, immune system support, posture and childhood falls. Dr. Amini believes that chiropractic checkups can identify potential spinal injury from childhood traumas and prevent complaints seen later in adults.

Dr.Amini modifies her chiropractic techniques for expectant mothers and babies including gentle spinal adjustments (no cracking or twisting of the spine), joint mobilization, soft-tissue work, stretching and home care. She also incorporates clinical acupuncture for mothers if necessary. She takes the time to explain what chiropractic can do for you and how spinal stress is caused even in infants and toddlers that may impact their normal spinal growth and development.

So what does a visit look like?

During a one hour history, Dr. Amini will ask you many questions about your condition to pinpoint the root cause of your health concern. She will perform a physical, neurological, orthopedic and chiropractic exam. She will then communicate her clinical impression with you and together, she will discuss a practical treatment plan.

If you are interested to find out how Dr. Amini can help you and your family, she is happy to offer you a 15-min complimentary consultation to see if you are a good candidate for chiropractic care. She will give you her honest opinion and will guide you in the right direction.
