April showers bring May flowers...well, Rain Rain Go Away!

This month, Scholastic Canada sponsored momstown's Baby Basics program.

Rain Rain Go Away is a cute board book that will help to clear even the greyest of days! 

With it's cute pictures and fun song lyrics, 

momstown KW's moms and babies had fun singing along.

One lucky mom and baby even got to bring a copy home to enjoy on their next rain day!

Next month, Scholastic will give away Away We Go! A Shape and Seek Book 

and you could be the lucky winner!

Scholastic Canada Gives momstown KW an Alligator Baby!

As part of momstown KW's commitment to early education and literacy, 

Scholastic generously donates books every month to our 

weekly Baby Basics program and our monthly Tales for Tots program!

This month, the book we gave away at Baby Basics was Alligator Baby by Robert Munsch!

This adorable board book is the story of how a mother and father "lose" their baby at the zoo 

and return home with an interesting mix of babies!

Thankfully, our winner Avery, is far too cute to be mistaken for an alligator baby, 

but is sure to enjoy this hilarious story for years to come! 

Congratulations Jenny and Avery and thank you to Scholastic for continuing to 

support momstown's commitment to early literacy and education!
