momstown KW Makes Polar Prints at Baby Basics

February may be a bit chilly, but at momstown KW our moms and babies all showed some love for this month by making some Polar Footprints at Baby Basics!

Before we broke out the paint though, it was time for a story and song! Our story time was sponsored by Scholastic and who donated an adorable cloth book called "I Love You!". This book celebrates the little discoveries using a mirror on the cover and soft baby friendly pages throughout. A great family read! Congratulations to Megan on winning this one!


Next, to prepare our babies for craft time, we sang "This Little Piggy". So, off came the socks and out came the laughter as all those little piggies went "Wee Wee Wee" all the way home!

This month, momstown's theme is Polar Animals, so to help remember how tiny our little one's toes are, we made some footprints to look like polar animals. There were penguins, snowmen and even a cute little polar bear! We also created some fun rhymes to share with our babies to go along with there footprints! What is your favorite polar animal?
