Off to Chapters Kitchener, momstown KW went for our monthly Tales for Tots! We read a great puppet version of OldMcDonald, given to us by Scholastic Canada, little K was so excited she was
able to bring it home to read and share with her new baby brother. Christine (the staff member at chapters)
asked if she had to sing the book, and didn’t have plans to do so, but once
everyone realized what story it was, we all broke out into song, singing Old
McDonald! Poor Christine was a little embarrassed,
but quickly got into the song with everyone young and old! She also pulled out the always entertaining
story of the Barnyard dance. The kids
loved it... stories, songs, dancing and CRAFTS!
After our fun story time, we all pooled around the little tables in
Chapters to make our own barnyard animals.
Everyone had their choice to make a muddy paper pig or a happy paper
cow. It was a bit more challenging of a
craft today, but everyone LOVED their animals and were very excited to show
them off to their dads when they got home.
Everyone got involved, and had some help from Mom to make their adorable
animals. Fun was had by all!

Adorable! It looks like it was a great time.
