With lots of washing,
chopping, nursing and feeding breaks, diaper changes, hand washing and working
again, we were able to make a great collection for each of us to enjoy some
preserves. This may or may not have
involved 2 trips to the local hardware store for some supplies... but we don’t
need to point out the little mistakes... do we??
Between batches, we took some time to pose the babies into a
circle, add in the toddler and have fun taking some photos too... what would a
momstown event be without lots of fun pictures?
All together, we were working on the project for about 6 hours, with many breaks. The babies were all fantastic, and were even nice enough to coordinate their feeding schedules... so whenever one mom sat down to feed, it was within minutes that all the babies wanted to eat as well.
Now that we have walked away with these two delicious
recipes, we feel like old pros, and have decided to continue the process... we
are thinking of getting adventurous and delving into the salsa making process
in July! Care to join us? Look how
delicious this all looks!!

Awesome! I used to love canning before we had kids. Now I say I don't have time, but this is a great way to get back into it!
