Kitchener-Waterloo Babies and Moms Get Hands-On at Baby Basics

What a day momstown KW moms and babies had a Baby Basics  today! Since it's March Break we thought we would explore the destinations that our members could travel to and what they might see and experience there!

First, we sang Old MacDonald and read "Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?". These were both full of fun sounds and noises that the babies all loved! The best was that Old MacDonald had a giraffe on his farm! "With a neck, neck here. And a neck, neck there..."

Afterwards, all fun broke loose! There were noisy shakers (for Mexican maracas), colored pasta (for Caribbean colors), a water bin (for the ocean), Cheerios (because they are delicious) and even a snow bin (for those staycationers)!

By the end of this event babies were soaked from the water, pasta and Cheerios were stuck to every body part, and the shakers were shaking!

These fun sensory bins are a great way to stimulate your baby with different textures, tastes and sounds! They are easy, inexpensive and a fun way to keep your baby entertained for hours on end!
