July is our Jungle month and so we headed of to the Brantford Twin Valley Zoo. Even the downpour of rain didnt' stop us! Our first stop was at the Goat petting area. We learned that this baby goat was just born the night before, so cute. The poor little guy wasn't strong enough to lift his head yet.
As we moved along, we saw zebras, all kinds of monkeys and fed some deer.
Then, we strolled along to where the cat family lives. The White Siberian Tiger was beautiful and so was the lazy leopard.
Our last stop was the bears since it was starting to rain and kids were getting hungry.
With the raining coming down harder, we headed for shelter which coincidentally was also the Creature Show! Snakes, lizards, tarantula's and fox were some of the animals available for show and pet. I wasn't up for the petting part but the kids sure loved it! Join us when we go to the African Lion Safari in August.
